Jadine Solomon
Jadine Solomon is the owner/operator of Vada's Club K9, a pet salon that opened in April 2012.
She has earned the title of Certified Stylist Technician from the Canadian Pet Stylists (CPPS) and is currently working on her level 2 certification. Jadine has been an active member of the Professional Pet Groomers Association of Manitoba (PPGAM) since 2011, having organized and helped with many educational events.
Jadine is a big believer in education and that knowledge is power. She has attended many seminars here in Winnipeg that were put on by the PPGAM. Also including, but not limited to:
September 2012 at Groom Expo in Hershey, PA
July 2013 at SuperZoo in Las Vegas, NV
as well as April 2014 at InterGroom in East Rutherford, NJ.Since Jadine's mother is Pet Stylist, she has spent quite a bit of time in a grooming salon since she was 5 years old. All throughout her school years she would help out in the grooming salon on the weekends and summer break. Being around animals is like second nature to her. Jadine has also had summer jobs in pet stores and vet clinics.
Growing up she had many different animals including a lizard, ferret, cats, rats and dogs (cocker spaniels, rottweilers, + greyhounds just to name a few!)
She currently owns a CKC registered Sealyham Terrier (progeny of 'Vada') named d'Artagnon who has his Canadian Championship and won Best of Breed at the Canadian specialty for Sealyham Terriers in 2015.
